From 100 MORE Days of Weight Loss, Day 92
Consider all the things that cause you not to maintain or stay on your diet plan. Then flip the list by stating each item in a positive way.
Remind yourself that you absolutely do know how to maintain your weight.
Here are my answers to the three questions at the end of the lesson.
1. Make a list of behaviors and activities that might cause you to gain weight back.
Eating ice cream at night and cookies or pastries for afternoon break
Skipping exercise many days in a row
Intentionally avoiding thinking about my weight
2. Flip each item by stating it in a positive way or one that would help you maintain.
Eating ice cream, cookies or pastries only on special occasions, and in small amounts.
Building exercise into a daily routine.
Each day reminding myself, “Today I’m on my plan and I will stay on it all day.”
3. Put three things from your list into action today. Record the outcome.
Small amount of ice cream left in the freezer went into the trash.
Resolved to not buy any cookies or pastries today. Eat a protein bar instead.
I have a plan for exercising at 4pm today.
I’ve already said to myself, “Today I’m on my plan and I will stay on it all day.
