Rewarding yourself with food results in a hollow victory.
In reality, you would much rather be noticed by the people you worked so hard to please.
Here are my answers to the three questions at the end of the lesson.
1. Create a list of non-food rewards. At least once today, reward yourself with something from your list.
Taking a walk
Listening to music
Buy a new book
Download a new song from a favorite artist
2. Write a praise letter for something you’ve done. Email or send it to yourself.
Wow Linda! You wrote a wonderful new book, “100 MORE Days of Weight Loss.” In fact, I think it’s even better than your first 100 Days book. The lessons are deeper and more thought provoking. Great job! (It felt good to read this!)
3. Give rewards such as hugs, cards or appreciation to others. Record your actions.

Two of my friends.
What a fun activity! It felt great to reward someone else.
