From 100 MORE Days of Weight Loss, Day 34
Take a look at the amount of meaning in your own life right now.
Even if you can’t change jobs or skip classes and events, you can work on building meaning in other areas.
Here are my answers to the three questions at the end of the lesson.
1. Write a list of things that currently give you meaning in your life.
Long visits with my sisters who are my best friends
Learning new things-reading books, studying about writing, marketing and coaching
Playing with our dogs – they always give unconditional love
Cooking, planning meals, reading favorite cookbooks
My social groups such as book club and tea group
2. Decide where you can add more things or cultivate the ones you have.
I want to increase my learning in areas of writing and book marketing. I have a bunch of resources that I need to study – just have to make time for it.
Study cookbooks and do one new recipe each week.
3. Do at least one activity that builds your sense of meaning. Record what you did.
Choose one of the training modules in my marketing course and do the work in the program.
When I set a specific goal like this, I usually follow through and love the learning.
