From 100 MORE Days of Weight Loss, Day 31
Every day, work on restoring a tiny bit of your life. As the months go by, you’ll be able to see a lot more of your original structure, beauty and value.
Eventually your efforts will pay off as you restore and appreciate your life.
Here are my answers to the three questions at the end of the lesson.
1. Write a list of areas you’d like to restore in your life.
This is good timing because I’ve been thinking about improving several areas of my life.
• Exercise- my health is better again, so I want to get back to regular cardio exercise as well as my yoga and strength training.
• Cooking- stop eating out as much as well as stop buying prepared foods. Instead, do more cooking and try new recipes.
• Organizing my home- lots of areas that I’d like to sort out and de-clutter.
2. For each item, write down one thing that will help you begin restoring it.
Exercise- Pull out my yoga tapes and start doing yoga again.
Cooking- Choose a cookbook to work through and try new recipes.
Organizing- sort things in basement storage room.
3. Choose one goal and take action on it today. Record what you did.
Cooking- Pull out my “Cooking for Two” cookbook.
Choose 2 or 3 recipes and write list of groceries needed.
I have chosen the first recipe – baked salmon
