My answers to the 3 questions at the end of the lesson
When you face a tough time, remind yourself to reach for your courage and do it in the fear.
Then spend twenty seconds being strong against the challenge you are facing.
1. Recall a time when fear took over your thoughts. Write it in the space below.
Fear that I won’t be able to stay on my weight-loss plan and reach my goal
Fear about health issues, maybe my breast cancer will return (8-year survivor)
I had lots of fear about writing this book, and wasn’t sure I could do it.
2. What did you do to get past the fear? Make a list of steps you took.
Remind myself, “Of course I can do it!” Say this over and over.
Jump into my work and goals in spite of my fears.
Say to myself, “Do it in the fear,” then jump.
3. Identify places in your life now where you can “do it in the fear.”
Rebuild my exercise and fitness levels.
Do a good job with being leader of community program (University Club)
Stay on my weight-loss program, no matter what!
