From 100 MORE Days of Weight Loss, Day 29
When you notice you’re slipping back into old patterns, here’s a great solution. Each morning, pretend you put on a “Healthy Day” hat.
Then do five things that help you label the day as being a healthy one.
Here are my answers to the three questions at the end of the lesson.
1. Write the words “Today is a healthy day.”
Today is a healthy day and I will live in that attitude all day!
2. Create a list of several things you will include in your plan today.
Drink lots of water. (I started my day with a glass of water early this morning)
Eat a healthy breakfast. (done)
Exercise late afternoon by walking on treadmill at least 30 minutes plus doing some free weights and stretching.
Plan a healthy dinner (done- barbecued chicken, salad, asparagus)
3. At the end of the day, check off the ones you accomplished. Celebrate that it was a healthy day.
I love the idea of wearing an invisible “healthy day hat.” It helps me keep my focus stronger and live under the umbrella of healthy behaviors.
